Launched in Fall 2015, the Hyattsville Community Development Corporation’s Vacant Commercial Property Conversion Program is an financial incentive program that transforms persistently vacant commercial properties in Hyattsville Route One Corridor into tenanted contributors to the local economy. It connects property owners with small business owners and entrepreneurs seeking affordable space for lease in return for an in-kind contribution of each property’s rehabilitation.
